Malodrama

Malodrama are an English heavy rock band fusing classic and alternative rock influences with progressive elements. While undeniably a heavy rock act Malodrama's sound contains elements of progressive melodic rock.

The band sprang into life in 2010.  During a hiatus from their other band, bassist/vocalist Angus and guitarist Don collaborated on recording a few songs and some soundscapes for a short film.  The successful results and enthusiastic reaction from those who heard the finished tracks encouraged the pair to continue working on more songs.  Working at Lost Boys studios Bedfordshire under the watchful eye of producer/engineer Ru Cook, who also contributed additional guitar work to the songs, the pair completed recording of a full album between 2011 and late 2012.  

During the process of recording, the Malodrama project became a full band as the completed material was road tested in rehearsals and new songs began to take shape.  Malodrama's debut single 'We Need to talk' was released in Summer 2013.  The band's debut album will be released early in 2014 and the band will take to the road to promote it.
